Track34-8.1

C Half Tone & D♭ Whole Tone

Track34 C Half Tone D♭ Whole Tone – The best way to look at the Dim Blues scale is to
separate it into 2 similar but unique scales and 8 chords.
There are really only 3 half-tone whole-tone scales to learn, C – C♯/D♭ – D.
When you get to E♭ you’re back into the C version starting on E♭.
Those 3 scales provide you with 12 Dominant 7 flat 9 and 12 Diminished chords.
A super reason to start practicing the ins and outs of the Dim Blues scale.
